Andar Bahar rules step by step
The rules below follow Evolution's description of Super Andar Bahar, which matches the classic game:
- Bet. During the betting time, place chips on Andar or Bahar, and on any side bets you want.
- Joker. When betting closes, the dealer turns over the first card, called the Joker. What counts is its value: a card of the same value has to appear.
- Deal. The dealer deals cards first to Andar, then to Bahar, alternating between the two sides.
- Match. Dealing stops when a card of the same value as the Joker appears. If the Joker is a 7, the first 7 to come out decides the round.
- Settle. Bets on the side that received the matching card win; bets on the other side lose. Side bets are settled on how many cards it took.
Example: the Joker is the King of hearts. Cards go Andar, Bahar, Andar, Bahar, and the King of spades lands on Bahar as the sixth card dealt. Bahar bets win, and the side bet covering "Cards 6–10" wins in Super Andar Bahar.

Side bets and multipliers
Side bets let you predict how long the deal will last instead of which side wins. In Evolution's Super Andar Bahar there are ten of them, grouped by the number of cards dealt after the Joker until the match:

Each round, one to five random multipliers are applied to these side bets. Evolution says the biggest possible win is 4,000x, on "Cards 46–49". Remember what that number means: a very long deal is rare, which is exactly why it carries the biggest multiplier.
Ezugi's classic Andar Bahar also has a wide choice of side bets; the provider page does not list them one by one, so open the table's help screen to see what is on offer.
Payouts and odds: what to check
Main-bet payouts are not published on the provider pages we checked, and they can differ between versions and tables. Before your first bet:
- Open the paytable or "i" button on the table and note the payout for Andar and for Bahar. Some versions pay the two sides differently, so do not assume both pay the same.
- Look for the RTP of each bet in the game rules. Compare the side bets with the main bets before you add them.

Ezugi states that its Andar Bahar lets you win up to 120 times your stake. Treat headline multipliers as the top of the range, not a typical result.

Playing with limits
- Decide a budget before you sit down, for example ₹500, and leave the table when it is used.
- Keep side bets small. They are fun, but they lose most of the time.
- Ignore "trends" in the history panel. A run of Bahar wins says nothing about the next deal.
- Rounds are quick, so set a time limit as well as a money limit.
